From Nov. 2020 to April 2021, Doctors for Healthy Communities was assisted by a group of talented men and women across Metro Louisville as part of the Louisville Ignite project. With their help, DHC made new inroads to becoming a stronger, smarter, and more technologically adept organization.
We raised upwards of $4,500 via the silent auction, “A Bid for Health Equity,” found new ways to connect with volunteers through the Reach Alert system, added more than 150 followers on Facebook and Twitter through a social media campaign, found new avenues for support through Kroger’s Community Rewards program, AND Ignite connected us with Colburn Video to create video content that will be vital to our organization for years to come.
Thank you to ALL the members of the Ignite Team: Alex Martindale, Amanda Parson, Anyah Hoang-Ansert, Brian Goss, John Weber, Kimberly Turner, Matt Muller, and mentor Harold Butler. Your ideas and hard work have strengthened DHC and provided us a path forward for greater service to our community.
