Doctors for Health Communities facilitated a generous donation of washers and dryers from General Electric (GE) Appliances for JCPS Camp Taylor and Audubon Traditional Elementary Schools with heartfelt assistance by Metro United Way. The first washer and dryer set was delivered to Camp Taylor on Thursday, April 22nd. These appliances will be used to meet the school children’s laundry needs. Special thanks to Tim Sanders and Theresa Burridge (Metro United Way) and Katina Whitlock (GE Appliances) for their compassionate support for these schools in meeting all the needs of the students.

GE Appliances is based in Louisville, Kentucky and is renowned for its home equipment and community partnerships.
