Doctors for Healthy Communities continues to support Uniting Partners (UP) for Women and Children. DHC volunteers collected blankets for winter and delivered on October 2, 2020.

Uniting Partners wrote on their Facebook page:
“A special thanks to Doctors for Healthy Communities and Muslim Americans for Compassion for helping us to replenish our blanket supplies. We are so grateful for the many community partners that help support our work!”

Uniting Partners for Women and Children was founded in 2017. Their vision is to ensure homelessness is rare and brief for women and children by providing a safe, empowering space that offers the supportive services and resources needed by women to become self-sufficient.
