Kentucky State Senator Johnny Ray Turner (District 29) delivered KN95 masks to health care providers and first responders in his district.
Senator Turner also acknowledged that DHC and APPNA provided those provisions from his Facebook page, saying:
Extremely thankful for the work of our first responders and those on the frontlines during this time of crisis.
I was happy to do a small part and help by delivering N95 masks to Allen Fire Department, Maytown Fire Department, Left Beaver Rescue Squad, Wheelwright Fire Department, and Garrett Fire Department.
Working with Dr. Muhammad Babar, a Louisville Physician of Doctors for Healthy Communities (DHC) and Association of Physicians of Pakistani descent of North America (APPNA), we were able to secure some much-needed protective equipment for those on the frontlines.
