Fighting the spread of flu germs is essential for our elementary schools. That’s why Bellarmine College of Nursing students are visiting Audubon Traditional Elementary and Camp Taylor Elementary Schools to teach young kids about ways to stay safe from germs.

At the end of the presentation, each student will receive a Hygiene Bag containing hand sanitizer, pocket tissue, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste at the end of the day to take home. Doctors for Healthy Communities is proud to help contribute supplies for this great service.

Not only that, but our next Blessings in a Backpack event will take place October 3rd at 4 p.m. at Camp Taylor. Email us at dhcus502@gmail.com to find out how you can get involved!
